Comparison of Experimental Life Test Results Taking Confidence Intervals into Account

If life tests are carried out to demonstrate the increase in reliability of a product modification (e.g. design changes), usually comparative tests are carried out. If the experimental lifetimes Bx are taken into account without considering the confidence limits in order to describe the increase in life performance, the confidence level of life ratio BxNew/BxReference comes only 50% value. In this webinar a method, which takes the confidence limits resulting from the tests into account when assessing the performance increase, will be presented, so that the life increase can also be specified with a certain level of confidence.
