Selecting the Proper Shutter Speed

Professional photographer Hal Brainerd explains the relationship between shutter speed and aperture in this video, using me riding my bike down a hill as the subject. When photographing a moving object, you can slow down the shutter speed and change the aperture respectively in order to keep the same exposure while at the same time adding a different effect.
