0x01 Records make a fantastic first foray into the world of viOlan! who is a Swiss sound designer and live act with a special grasp of his modular synth set up that always results in innovative techno sounds spearheads the release with 'Capability Caution’ where frazzled synths wrap round a hard hitting, steel plated groove and will blow any club to bits. 0x01 continues to expand the genre's boundaries and has picked up support from the likes of Marcel Dettmann and DJ Bone amongst many more.yl with a four track, various artist compilation featuring boss Olan!, Amen Skulter, Der White Rauschen and Ghostclusters.

Next up is Amen Skulker, an alter ego of Swiss drone and ambient artist Markus Kenel. His 'Wavelet Transform' is a raw, tripped out cut with a meandering lead line that takes you on a real ride while bulky kick drums pound away underneath.

Side two takes a different, housier direction with 'Gamokk' by Der White Rauschen, which is a collaboration between Olan! and Swiss indie artist Domi Chansorn. It's an elastic groove with synths twisting, turning and contorting from start to finish, all while quick, kinetic drums make you move. The compilation finishes off with an electronica track by Olan!’s experimental outlet Ghostclusters. The brutalist 'Robojudge' is a flurry of whirring drum patterns, busted loops, grubby bass and unrestrained energy that will have you in pieces.

The digital download includes a bonus remix from experimental techno producer Isolated Lines of ‘Olan! - Capability Caution' that bangs just as hard.
