COVID-19: Taiwan reports dozens of new cases, mostly navy sailors on Palau trip

Taiwan has reported its largest cluster of COVID-19 cases yet in its navy. So far, 24 naval personnel have tested positive after a recent mission to Palau. Health authorities fear the infection could have spread to other parts of Taiwan. Since the vessels returned on April 15, all those on board went to visit 10 different cities and counties. Based on the initial investigation, they have come into contact with up to 3,000 people. Authorities said they could not confirm whether those infected had contracted the virus from Palau until further investigation.
