Globally debate rages whether lockdowns are essential to contain the spread of coronavirus. Meanwhile in India, the government faces the flak from many experts who say that testing is being done to detect coronavirus is abysmally low considering the population. Congress President Rahul Gandhi today addressed the press through video conference stressed the need to conduct more sample testing to get accurate figures on the number of COVID-19 infected people. On today's show, we also take a look at how Taiwan managed to keep the spread of the virus under check without going into a lockdown nor doing testing on a large scale. According to reports, Taiwan had begun taking measures such as banning travel from many parts of China and began manufacturing masks on a large scale, from as early as January. (Audio in Hindi)
