Good morning everyone
From year to year the number of human population is increasing, the production of food and beverages will increase also. Beside that, every seller always does an innovation on food or beverage composition to have a very delicious taste. But many sellers do the wrong way in adding material to the manufacturing process, they add chemicals to taste delicious food and drinks. So, there are so many cases of food poisoning due to the use of chemicals. I found samples in news journal of deaths from food poisoning in 2009-2013 a total of 2,500 victims died. In this case, I will show you 3 reasons why using chemical materials for foods and drinks should be banned. To start, I will explain the process of chemicals if we consumed it. The next part, nutrition will not long lasting in canned food or drink. And the last part i will explain about using chemicals can build up of calories. Finally I will put the conclusion for my presentation.
The first reason why using chemical material should be banned is that chemicals have a very long process when they enter digestion. This is also because the supplementary substances (chemicals) especially trans fat is the cause. The reason that trans fat has an important role for frozen food, because trans fat can make food more durable, and does not eliminate the taste of the food. However, trans fat is very difficult to digest. I found a sample in that article, US is the first country that is claimed to have the highest obesity rate of 79.4 million, because people often buy and consume frozen food. Products that contain trans fat will have an impact on our health especially the digestive system. Therefore, it is better to avoid foods that have a very long process if we consume them.
The second reason why using chemical materials should be banned is that nutrition will not long lasting in canned food or drinks. This is because most canned foods contain chemicals such as preservatives in their production. The reason that preservatives are a very important ingredient in making canned food, which has a function to keep food from rotting but can eliminate nutrients. Bridge is a researcher says "there are some canned foods that lose nutrients such as vitamin C and thiamine, when the food is in the heating process and it is bad for health". Food canned products that have very delicious and efficient. However, it has low nutrition. It is better to reduce the consumption of canned food is a good way, rather than buy without regard to ingredients..
The third reason why using chemical materials should be banned is that using chemicals can build up of calories. This is because most beverage products that have a high calorie content are soda drinks. Build-up of calories due to beverage products containing artificial sweeteners that do not comply with nutritional adequacy rates, resulting in diabetes. I found a sample in an article that The country with the highest population of diabetes sufferers is China with a total of 26.7 million people, due to frequent consumption soft drinks or sugary drinks. Sweet drinks are indeed the best medicine in dehydration, but sweet drinks are not good for continuous consumption because it results in diabetes cause of artificial sweeteners in making these drinks.
In conclusion, that there are three reasons why using chemical materials for food or drink should be banned. These are because consume chemicals take a long time when enter digestive system, using chemicals are also can eliminate nutrients, and using chemicals can build up of calories. To complete my speech today, i would like to suggest if you want to be buy some food or drink you must pay attention to the ingredients. However, using of chemicals is not a secret anymore. Lets take action to more be careful by buying some product that we will consume, because healthy is expensive.
