Why is it that monkeys have a human history? Because scientists discovered that about 10 million years ago, some of the monkeys came down from the trees and lived on flat land. They have large brains and have continued to develop the ability to use fingers to grab food. About 4 million years ago, a human-like monkey (Australopithecus) settled in Africa. It can walk on its own, have long arms and can use wood or stone as a living aid. The first species that continues to evolve is today called Homo Habilis, who came to East Africa two million years ago. About 1.5 million years ago, Homo Erectus developed, and about 500,000 years ago, they were able to use fire, communicate, use a common language, hunt for food, and gather group fruits. Later, it gradually evolved to become a modern human.
