Going to theme parks on the Gold Coast are a rite of passage for young Aussies but today we learnt the federal government will inexplicably pull an offer for their funding says Sky News host Peter Gleeson. He said Australia’s favourite theme parks in Queensland have been enjoyed by youngsters for decades.
However, on Wednesday “we learned of a real kick in the guts,” he said.
“The federal government was working on a loan facility for the theme parks which would have helped them tremendously as they stare down the dire predicament of emerging from this post Covid funk”.
“But inexplicably the feds have pulled the funding offer”.
