How does our work strengthen Europe in the fight against cancer?

Under the REACH regulation, the most dangerous chemicals are controlled or replaced. Cancer-causing chemicals are also restricted.

Chemicals causing cancer are classified and labelled so that people are protected.

We work on setting exposure limits at work to protect workers from being exposed to chemicals that can cause cancer.

ECHA has the largest database in the world on chemicals and their properties that can be used to find and replace cancer-causing chemicals.
