The stock market saw its first normal down day in a while with bond yields and currencies responding appropriately, however we still are coming into some big stock news that could shock markets. That news is the Jobless claims report coming out tomorrow and depending on what it prints, we will get another clue as to how the market is pricing this broader economic effect. Nonetheless, it is starting to look like investors and companies are preparing for a more uncertain wave, as we saw bank stocks raise loan loss projections and the Federal Reserve today stating that the next liquidity crunch will cause bankruptcies. That being said, we will be watching stock earnings closely and Q2 guidance, alongside the broader economic data to see where we are at, but I made the bold claim we should see wave 2 in around 14 trading days. I cover that then I go over my portfolio and 3 stocks to buy now, as well as the trade we made on the Robinhood portfolio focused around selling option premium aka credit spreads.
